WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â Still in the heart of the race for a MAC Commonwealth Tournament slot, the Lycoming College men's basketball team gets back on the floor on Saturday, Feb. 13, when it faces Hood in a critical MAC Commonwealth game at Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (15-8 overall, 7-7 MAC Commonwealth) have fallen into a tie for fourth-place in the league standings and a win against the Blazers would help keep the team assured of no worse than a tie for fourth in the league heading into the team's conference bye on Wednesday.
The Blazers (12-10 overall, 6-7 MAC Commonwealth) have hovered on the fringe of the conference tournament picture for most of the season, and the team's 58-45 win over Messiah on Feb. 10 leaves the Blazers just a half-game behind the Warriors.
Warrior Notes• The Warriors lead the MAC Commonwealth in scoring margin (6.2), offensive rebounds (14.7), steals (9.4), rebounds (42.5) and turnovers forced (18.6).
