WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â Two teams that were predicted to battle for MAC Commonwealth Championship slots will hit the court on Saturday, Dec. 10, in a key early season matchup when the Lycoming College women's basketball team looks for its third straight win at Widener University.
The Warriors (6-2 overall, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) are looking for their third straight win after posting an 86-67 win over Hood and a 52-49 win over King's. Freshman
Akilah McFadden led the Warriors in the win over the Monarchs, scoring 20 points, including five in the final 2:31 to ensure the win.
The Pride (2-5 overall, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth) are coming off a 78-73 loss to 20th-ranked Albright, as junior Allison Gallagher led the way with 21 points.Â
