WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off the team's highest scoring game in seven seasons, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will get back into action on Tuesday night, Nov. 22, when it heads to King's College for a non-conference game at 7 p.m.
Five Warriors (5-2 overall) finished in double figures in the team's 86-67 win over Hood in its last outing, led by 17 points and nine rebounds from freshman
Kayla Kline and 16 points and 11 rebounds from junior
Shelby Mueller.
The Monarchs (1-6 overall) are coming off a 72-54 loss at Rutgers-Camden. Freshman Rebecca Prociak led the team with a career-high 19 points and six rebounds and sophomore Alexis Steeber added 13 points.
Game Notes
• Lycoming is looking for its second win against King's in a season for the first time since 1995-96.
• The Warriors lead the MAC Commonwealth with 4.1 blocked shots and 43.0 rebounds per game.
• Four players have scored in double figures four times this year for the Warriors and five have been in double digits twice.
• Lycoming's 86 points against Hood were its most since scoring 89 against Penn College on Nov. 16, 2010.
