WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After opening the MAC Commonwealth season with a loss at Messiah, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will try to regroup on Saturday, Dec. 3, when it hosts Hood College in another conference clash at 1 p.m. in Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (4-2 overall, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) fell victim to a Messiah squad that shot 46 percent from the floor in an 83-42 loss. Freshman
Kayla Kline led the team with nine points and junior
Jenn Grove added seven points and six rebounds.
Hood (3-2 overall, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) opened its conference season with a 74-67 win over Alvernia, as five players finished in double figures, led by 13 points, eight assists, five rebounds and four steals from freshman Ebony Pitt.
