WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After Messiah ended the Lycoming College women's basketball team's three-game winning streak, Lycoming will look to get another one started on Saturday, Jan. 9, when it heads to Hood College for a 1 p.m. MAC Commonwealth match.

The Warriors (8-5 overall, 3-2 MAC Commonwealth) was led by 10 points and five rebounds by senior Olivia Manges at Messiah and sophomore Shelby Mueller also had seven points and came away with 10 rebounds.

The Blazers (4-10 overall, 0-5 MAC Commonwealth) lost a heartbreaker to Alvernia, 79-77, in its last outing. Senior Alexis Briscoe led the team in the game with a career-high 18 points and junior Alexis Andrukat added 14.

• Freshman Jenn Grove needs to score two more points to reach 100 in her career.

• Sophomore Shelby Mueller needs one more blocked shot to become the 18th player in school history to block 30 in a career.

• Senior Chelsea Henderson needs four more steals to become the 15th player in school history to reach 125 in a career.
