WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After knocking Widener out of a first-place tie with a huge MAC Commonwealth win on Saturday, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will look to continue its three-game winning streak on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 6 p.m., when it heads to Messiah College in another crucial MAC Commonwealth matchup.

The Warriors (8-4 overall, 3-1 MAC Commonwealth) were led by a pair of 15-point performances in the 61-54 win over the Pride, with both freshman Jenn Grove and senior Chelsea Henderson reaching the mark. The Warriors were also aided by 11 points and four steals from sophomore Shelby Mueller.

The Falcons (7-4 overall, 2-1 MAC Commonwealth) have won three games in a row including a 70-52 MAC Commonwealth win against Alvernia on Saturday, Jan. 2.

• The Warriors lead the MAC Commonwealth in 3-point field goal defense (.217) and assist-turnover ratio (0.92).

• Junior Nicole Callela needs nine more assists to become the sixth player in school history to reach 250 in a career.

• Calella is eighth in Division III with 69 total assists this year and 16th with 5.8 per game.

• With 101 career 3-pointers made, senior Olivia Manges needs to hit one more to tie Emily DiMarco (2000-04) for fifth in school history.

• Manges needs two steals to become the 26th player in school history to reach 100 in a career.

• Sophomore Shelby Mueller needs one more rebound to reach 200 in her career.

• Freshman Jenn Grove needs to score four more points to reach 100 in her career.

• Senior Chelsea Henderson is seventh in the MAC Commonwealth with 12.0 points per game and Mueller is eighth at 11.7.
