WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â With a bye in the grueling MAC Commonwealth season this week, the first-place Lycoming College men's basketball team will head to Penn State Altoona for its final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 6 p.m.
The Warriors (13-3 overall) moved into first place in the MAC Commonwealth with a 97-86 win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday, Jan. 16, as the team shot a season-best 51 percent from the floor (37-of-72) as four players finished in double figures, led by a career-high 22 from junior
Nykolas King.
The Lions (3-9 overall) are playing their first of two games in as many days, using the game against Lycoming as a tuneup for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match with La Roche.
Warrior Notes• The Warriors lead the MAC Commonwealth in scoring (80.9), scoring margin (9.8), rebounding (44.2), offensive rebounds (16.3, seventh in Division III), rebounding margin (6.4), turnover-margin (+6.19. ninth in DIII), turnovers forced (19.6, eighth in DIII), assists (14.4) and steals (10.2, 17th in DIII).
