WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Having already clinched a spot in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament for the fourth time in head coach
Guy Rancourt's tenure, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will head to Albright College for a Commonwealth Conference tilt on Saturday, Feb. 7, looking to keep extending its hold on first place.
The Warriors (15-6 overall, 10-2 Commonwealth) have been unquestionably the hottest team in the conference since the change of the calendars, winning nine of their last 10 games, including a 63-52 win at Widener in their last outing.
The Lions (8-11 overall, 4-7 Commonwealth) fell to Stevenson, 85-73, in their last outing, but beat Widener, 73-62, and Lebanon Valley, 78-77, in the two games before that.
Warrior Notes• The Warriors can clinch the a first round bye and a top-three seed in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament with a win and a loss by fourth-place Alvernia at Hood.
