YORK, Pa. – A school-record in the men's 400-yard medley relay highlighted the second day of the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships for the Lycoming College swim teams, as the teams also compiled five other top-five teams in program history at the Graham Aquatic Center on Friday, Feb. 13.

The Warriors finished the second day in eighth place in a 12-team field on the women's side with 93 points and in seventh-place in an 11-team field on the men's side with 102 points. Messiah leads the women's championship with 225 points and Albright leads the men's with 201.

The Warrior men kicked off the night with the school-record, finishing fifth in the 400-yard medley relay to earn Second Team All-MAC honors in 3:33.06. Freshman
Andrew Canavan (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) posted a 55.24 in his backstroke lap before junior
Trevor Endler (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) posted a breaststroke split of 58.20. Senior
Dan Woods (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) followed with a butterfly split of 51.96 before junior
Dan Apostolu (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) finished with a blistering 47.26 freestyle split, as the team smashed the tecord set in 2014 of 3:36.04.

Senior
Alexia Follweiler (New Ringgold, Pa./Panther Valley) finished fourth in the 200-yard individual medley to earn Second Team All-MAC honors, as she posted a time of 2:15.11, the second-fastest time in school history, just edging out Eileen Mackson's time of 2:15.13, which she used to place eighth at the 1983 NCAA Division III Championships.

Apostolu finished eighth in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 21.75 after notching a 21.57 – the third-fastest time in program history - in the preliminary race.

Jilly Flynn (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional), Follweiler and senior
Danielle Loiseau (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) finished eighth with a time of 4:11.52.

Woods won the consolation finals in the 200-yard individual medley, finishing in 1:59.22, to place ninth overall in the event and Endler added a time of 2:02.91 to place 15
th with the fourth-fastest time in program history.

Loiseau took 13
th in the 500-yard freestyle, as she knocked nearly eight seconds off her seed time in the consolation finals, finishing in 5:24.44, the third-fastest time in program history. Senior
Brigid Clark (Wyndmoor, Pa./Springfield) finished 16
th in the event, posting a time of 5:37.11 in the consolation finals after notching a 5:29.25 in the preliminary race, the fifth-fastest time in program history. Flynn finished 14
th in the 200-yard individual medley on the women's side, posting a time of 2:23.23.

The Warriors get back in the pool with the third day of the MAC Championships on Saturday, Feb. 14, with preliminary races at 10 a.m. and the finals set to begin at 6 p.m.
