WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off its second-highest scoring effort of the season, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will look for its first Hoops for Hounds Tournament title since 2009 when it hosts undefeated York College in the championship game at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29.

The Warriors (6-4 overall) were led by a career-high 18 points from senior Chelsea Henderson and 13 points and eight rebounds from sophomore Shelby Mueller in a 73-52 win over Rosemont on Monday night in the first round of the tournament. The Warriors grabbed 21 offensive rebounds, which led to 20 second-chance points.

The Spartans (9-0 overall) outlasted William Paterson, 68-62, in the other first round Hoops for Hounds Tournament game Monday.

Warrior Notes
• The Warriors are 2-4 all-time in the championship round of the Hoops for Hounds Tournament. The team last won the tournament with a 60-52 win over FDU-Florham in 2009.

• Senior Olivia Manges needs two more points to become the 23rd player in school history to score 700 in a career.

• With 101 career 3-pointers made, Manges needs to hit one more to tie Emily DiMarco (2000-04) for fifth in school history.

• Manges is two steals shy of becoming the 26th player in school history to post 100 in a career. Along with junior Nicole Calella and senior Chelsea Henderson, she would be a part of the first trio in school history to have 100 steals each accumulated in their careers playing at the same time.

• With 233 career assists, Calella needs one more helpers to tie Helen Hoban (1992-96) for sixth in school history.
