The Warriors shot 47 percent from the field and placed four players in double figures – sophomore Alex Newbold (Bowie, Md./Dematha Catholic) led the team with 15 points, junior Nykolas King (Harlem, N.Y./Manhatten Center for Science & Math) had 14 points and eight rebounds, senior Eric Ishman (Jamaica, N.Y./Christ the King) finished with 14 points and two 3-pointers and junior David Johnson (Philadelphia, Pa./Communications Tech) finished with 12 points, three assists and four rebounds.

The game serves as Lycoming's one NCAA-allowed exhibition game against an international opponent in 2015-16. Quebec-Montreal is a member of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) – the equivalent to the NCAA in the United States. The school participates in the Quebec Student Sport Federation and featured a lengthy roster that included a 6-10, a 6-7 and a 6-6 player on the roster.

Lycoming used 12 players during the contest, during which the team held a double-figure lead throughout most of the first and second half. The Citadins closed within six points with 1:25 left in the first half, but Lycoming closed the half on a 6-0 run, highlighted by a high-flying putback dunk from Newbold.

In the second half, the Warriors continued to press, bringing the lead to as many as 19 with eight minutes left, holding a 69-50 lead before the Citadins ended the game on a 22-7 run to make up the final margin.

The Warriors will officially open the 2015-16 season on Friday night, Nov. 13, when they host Penn State-Schuylkill at 6 p.m. to begin the Dutch Burch Tip-Off.
