WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Heading into the final month of the season, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will look to close January on a positive note on Saturday, Jan. 31, as it hosts Hood College in an important Commonwealth Conference clash at Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (12-7 overall, 4-6 Commonwealth) are coming off a tough 53-49 loss on the road at third-place Messiah. Junior
Chelsea Henderson led the team with 14 points and four steals and freshman
Shelby Mueller added 13 points and eight rebounds.
The Blazers (4-15 overall, 2-8 Commonwealth) fell to Lebanon Valley, 69-63, in their last outing, helping the Dutchmen move into a tie for the fifth and final playoff spot with the Warriors with six games remaining.
Warrior Notes• A win would clinch the Warriors' second straight winning season, reaching that mark for the first time since the 1996-97 (17-10) and 1997-98 (15-10) campaigns.

• Manges needs one more steal to join junior Chelsea Henderson, sophomore Nicole Calella and senior Janelle Ziminski with 25 thefts in back-to-back years.

Janelle Ziminski needs two assists and a 3-pointer to become the second player in school history to post 100 rebounds, 40 steals, 40 assists and 20 3-pointers in a season.
