WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After taking nearly a month off from Commonwealth Conference play, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will step back into league action on Saturday, Jan. 3, when it hosts Widener in an important early season matchup at Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (9-2 overall, 2-1 Commonwealth) are coming off a narrow 64-60 loss to TCNJ in the championship game of the Hoops for Hounds Tournament, but preceded that with a run of six straight wins, the program's longest winning streak since 2008-09.
The Pride (6-6 overall, 0-3 Commonwealth) are coming off a 55-51 win over Heidelberg in the championship game of Juniata's Holiday Tournament. Junior

Warrior Notes• With a win, the Warriors can improve to 10-2 for the first time in school history.
