ANNVILLE, Pa. – Three Lycoming College men's swimmers won two events and three women's swimmers also posted two wins to lead the program to a sweep of Lebanon Valley College in a Middle Atlantic Conference dual meet on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 10, with the men posting a 113-90 win and the women notching a 117-67 win.

The men posted eight wins en route to improving to 4-3 overall and 4-3 in the MAC while dropping Lebanon Valley to 4-5 overall as juniors
Trevor Endler (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) and
Dan Apostolu (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) and freshman
Charlie Pletz (Robesonia, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) each won two races.

Endler posted wins in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:12.03) and the 200-meter individual medley (2:27.39), Apostolu won the 100-meter freestyle (56.07) and the 50-meter freestyle (25.45), and Pletz took the 400-meter freestyle (4:45.47) and the 200-meter freestyle (2:09.42). Junior
Josh Thomas (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia Lutheran) added a win in the 100-meter butterfly (1:00.17) and the 200-medley relay team of freshman
Andrew Canavan (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell), Endler, Thomas and Apostolu won in a time of 1:54.87.

On the women's side, the Warriors won nine of the 10 races to post the win and improve to 4-3 overall and 4-3 in the MAC and knocking Lebanon Valley to 2-7 overall. Sophomore

Brigid Clark (Wyndmoor, Pa./Springfield) and senior
Alexia Follweiler (New Ringgold, Pa./Panther Valley) each won twice to lead the team.

Wimmer notched wins in the 400-meter freestyle (5:14.57) and the 200-meter individual medley (2:46.59), Clark posted wins in the 100-meter freestyle (1:05.50) and the 50-meter freestyle (30.19) and Follweiler won the 100-meter butterfly (1:13.48) and the 200-meter freestyle (2:22.23).

Nina McGahey (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Free Academy) also picked up a win in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:26.77) and senior
BethAnn Schwoyer (Williamsport, Pa./Home-schooled) won the 100-meter backstroke (1:14.19). The 200-meter freestyle relay team of sophomore
Morgan Black (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone), Schwoyer, sophomore
Madison Walmer (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) and Clark kicked off the meet with a  winning time of 2:00.45.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Jan. 17, when they host Arcadia in a Middle Atlantic Conference meet at 1 p.m. During the meet, the team will honor its nine seniors.
