Michael Rudy (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) added 13 points and four blocks to reach a milestone, but a second-half surge helped Stevenson University outlast the Lycoming College men's basketball team, 80-67, in Commonwealth Conference on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 8, at Owings Mills Gymnasium.

Anthony notched 11 second-half points to finish with 15, as he moved into 20
th on the Warriors' all-time scoring list, moving past Ray Graff (1976-80) and finishing the game with 1,177 career points. Rudy became the first Warrior to post 150 blocks in a career with his first block of the game, on a missed layup by Erik Fisher at the 18:05 mark.

The Warriors (9-11 overall, 5-9 Commonwealth) surged out of the gate on a 10-0 run, as Rudy and junior
Pat Dougher (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood) each hit treys during the run. A 14-4 Mustang run tied the game at 14 with 13:00 left and the Mustangs continued to surge, leading by as many as five in the half at 22-17 with 10:32 left.

The Warriors took control from there, finishing the half on a 15-5 run, with a 3-pointer from Rudy giving the team a 30-24 lead with 3:00 left and a layup by junior
Malcolm Covington (Bronx, N.Y./Christ the King) hitting a layup with 1:10 left to send Lycoming into the break with a 32-27 lead.

Lycoming kept the lead for the first 3:30 minutes of the second half before a 3-pointer from Erik Fisher gave the Mustangs (13-7 overall, 8-5 Commonwealth) a 39-37 lead and ignited a 20-2 run that gave Stevenson a 53-39 lead with 10 minutes to play. The Warriors cut the lead to eight twice, but could get no closer than that.

Justin Miller (Agawam, Mass./Bridgton Academy) added six points and seven rebounds, five offensive, and sophomore
John Monkam (Lanham, Md./DuVal) added two points and eight rebounds.

The Mistangs were led by 15 points and five 3-pointers from Stefon McCray. Alfonzo Hawkins added 12 points and three assists and Christian Roberts posted 11 points and four rebounds. Darius Walker added seven points and 10 rebounds and Colby Giacubeno also added 11 points and three assists.

The Warriors get back on the court with a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader against Lebanon Valley on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Dutch Burch Court at Lamade Gym. The women tip at 6 p.m. before the men play at 8 p.m.
