WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off a huge upset of 17th-ranked Messiah on Wednesday night, Feb. 5, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will look to make it a perfect week on Saturday, Feb. 8, when it heads to Stevenson for a Commonwealth Conference matchup.
The Warriors (9-10 overall, 5-8 Commonwealth) were led by 18 points and 11 rebounds from senior
Michael Rudy in the 81-73 upset win over the Falcons while senior
Kevin Anthony added 16 points and eight rebounds. Junior
Pat Dougher added 13 points and six rebounds.
The Mustangs (13-7 overall, 8-5 Commonwealth) fell to Widener, 57-51, in their last outing. Senior Alfonzo Hawkins led the team with 17 points in the loss.
Warrior Notes
• The win over No. 17 Messiah was Lycoming's first over a ranked team since Jan. 22, 2008, when they beat No. 25 Elizabethtown, 79-78, in overtime at Lamade Gym.

Michael Rudy has scored in double figures 17 times this season. In his first three years with the program, Rudy had posted 10 or more points 20 times.
• Rudy needs one more block to become the first player in school history to reject 150 in a career.

Kevin Anthony needs 11 more points to pass Ray Graff (1976-80) for 20th on the all-time scoring list and 22 to pass Eric Anthony (2007-10).
