WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Already having clinched its berth in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament, the Lycoming College women's basketball team can focus on properly honoring its seniors in the final regular season home game against Hood on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Dutch Burch Court at Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (12-11 overall, 9-8 Commonwealth) are looking to send the senior trio of
Julia Antonelli,
Victoria Kowalski and
Jenna Morgan out as part of the first team to have a winning conference season since the 1999-00 team went 8-6 in the Freedom Conference.
Hood (6-18 overall, 3-14 Commonwealth) will try for its second straight win after a dramatic 66-63 win over Alvernia.
Warrior Notes
• A win against Hood would give Lycoming its 200th win inside Lamade Gym. The Warriors are 199-157 (.559) in the building's 34 years.
• The Warriors clinched its second straight playoff berth Tuesday, Feb. 18, marking the first time since 1997-98 that the team will make back-to-back playoff appearances.
