WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With two games remaining in the Commonwealth Conference season, the Lycoming College men's basketball team finds itself surging as it heads into its biggest game of the year at Albright College on Tuesday night, Feb. 18.
A win for the Lions (12-11 overall, 8-8 Commonwealth) would knock the Warriors (11-11 overall, 7-9 Commonwealth) out of playoff contention, while a Warrior win would set up a crazy final Saturday with as many as four teams still in the mix for the final slot in the five-team conference playoffs.
The Warriors have won three of their last four games, including a key 81-73 win over 22nd-ranked Messiah and a 65-63 win against Lebanon Valley that featured late heorics. Albright, meanwhile, has won two of its last six.
