Michael Rudy (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) posted 15 points and six rebounds to lead the Lycoming College men's basketball team against Widener University on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 1, at Dutch Burch Court at Lamade Gym, but Widener used a 50 percent effort from the floor in the second half to post a 70-54 Commonwealth Conference win.

Nykolas King (New York, N.Y./Manhattan Center for Science & Math) added eight points and a steal and junior
Jourdan Wilson (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) posted six points and six rebounds. Junior
Malcolm Covington (Bronx, N.Y./Christ the King) added six points and six assists and senior
Kevin Anthony (Columbus, Ohio/Bridgton Academy) added six points and four rebounds.

The Pride (9-10 overall, 3-9 Commonwealth) shot 46 percent (26-of-56) from the field while Lycoming (8-9 overall, 4-8 Commonwealth) shot just 30 percent (18-of-60).

The two teams five lead changes and one tie early in the game, with a jumper by Rudy giving Lycoming a 15-13 lead with 12:31 left in the first half before the Pride started an 11-point run started by a 3-pointer from Andrew Radomicki and finished on a traditional 3-point play from the guard.

The Warriors cut the lead to three points with 7:46 after a layup by King, but the Warriors were held to four points the rest of the half and went into the break down 32-25.

The Warriors started the second half by cutting the lead to five points on an alley-oop dunk by Anthony, but the Pride followed with five straight points to take a 37-27 lead with 17:35 left. The Warriors responded with eight straight points, as junior
Pat Dougher (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood) hit a fastbreak 3-pointer with 15:39 left to make it 37-35.

The Pride, however, went on a 16-3 run over the next six minutes to take a 53-38 lead with 9:06 left and Lycoming couldn't close within single digits the rest of the way.

Radomicki finished with 20 points, five assists and three steals and Dillon Fields added 12 points, six rebounds and six assists to lead the Pride. Rob McPherson posted five points, four assists, two steals and 12 points. Logan Murray also posted 12 pointsand six rebounds.

The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, Feb. 5, when they host Messiah in a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader. The women tip at 6 p.m. before the men play at 8 p.m.
