WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a two-week break, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will get back on the court with the annual Louis Fleming Basinger Memorial Tournament, hosting Penn State Brandywine in the opening game of the event on Monday, Dec. 29, at 6 p.m.
The Warriors (5-4 overall) enter the tournament with three players averaging in double figures, led by 11.1 points from freshman
Issak Bodon. Sophomore
Nykolas King averages 10.8 points and freshman
Alex Newbold adds 10.3. Six players on the team are averaging better than 6.0 points per contest.
The Lions (0-7 overall) are led by a dynamic guard in sophomore James Fisher, who is averaging 22.3 points per game, which is fourth in the PSUAC.
Warrior Notes• The Warriors are 4-0 in Basinger Tournament opening rounds, outscoring opponents 372-211 in the four contests.
