Lycoming heads to Messiah looking to reverse roles

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After moving into a tie for third in the Commonwealth Conference, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will look to keep rolling and knock a 17-year old monkey off its back when it heads to Messiah on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

The Warriors (6-4 overall, 3-1 Commonwealth) are rolling, having won five of their last six games, including a 55-45 win over Arcadia on Jan. 4. The team features five starters that all average more than six points per game, led by senior Julia Antonelli and junior Ali Derr.

The Falcons (6-5 overall, 2-2 overall) have beaten the Warriors in each of the last 16 meetings, dating back to a 70-56 Warrior win in the 1995 Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs.
