WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Two games out of the fifth and final Commonwealth Conference playoff spot with seven games remaining, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will look to take a step closer to that final playoff slot on Saturday, Feb. 1, when it hosts Widener at Dutch Burch Court at Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (8-9 overall, 4-7 Commonwealth) have a tough week ahead, facing league-leading Messiah on Wednesday, Feb. 5, and second-place Stevenson on Saturday, Feb. 8, making a series sweep of the Pride (8-10 overall, 2-9 Commonwealth) critical as the team heads into the stretch run.
In the first meeting this season, the Warriors held the Pride to a season-low 53 points, nearly 35 points below the Pride's season average.
