WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Heading into the second half of the Commonwealth Conference season, both Lycoming College and the Elizabethtown College men's basketball teams will look to improve their playoff stock on Saturday, Jan. 25, with a near must-win game for both clubs at Thompson Gymnasium.
The Warriors (7-8 overall, 3-6 Commonwealth) outran the Blue Jays (7-9 overall, 4-5 Commonwealth) in the first meeting, 101-87, but the Blue Jays are coming off a huge 65-63 win over second-place Stevenson on Jan. 22. The Warriors, meanwhile, have dropped a pair of games in a row.
Lycoming entered the week in the league lead in field goal percentage defense (.407) while Elizabethtown tops the league in rebounding defense, allowing just 33.4 boards per game.

Michael Rudy needs one more rejection to tie Matt Stackhouse (2000-04) for first in school history with 142 career blocks.

Kevin Anthony needs nine to pass Rasheed Campbell (1996-00) for 25th in school history.
• Anthony's stretch of 15 straight double-figure scoring efforts is the longest for the Warriors since Jonathan Pribble did it in 17 straight games to begin the 2004-05 season.
• Anthony became the 11th player in school history to post 100 or more rebounds in all four years of his career with his eighth of 11 against Albright.
• The Warriors are 6-1 when shooting better than 50 percent from the field. The team shot a season-best .660 in the 101-87 meeting against Elizabethtown on Nov. 26.
• The Warriors are 7-5 all-time on Jan. 25.
