Warriors look to step closer to top half of conference at Lebanon Valley

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After one of the most convincing wins of the season at Widener on Saturday, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will hit the pavement one more time to end a four-game Commonwealth Conference road trip at Lebanon Valley on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 8 p.m.

The Warriors (6-6 overall, 2-4 Commonwealth) could step through the a stint that saw six of its first seven conference games come on the road with a 3-4 record if they can beat the Flying Dutchmen, opening up a second-half of the conference slate that sees eight of the last 11 games in the friendly confines of Lamade Gym.

The Dutchmen (4-8 overall, 2-4 Commonwealth) are coming off an 86-72 loss to Stevenson on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Warrior Notes
• Head coach Guy Rancourt needs one more win to become the fourth coach in school history to win 90 games at the college.

• With 1,048 points, senior Kevin Anthony needs 22 to pass Ihsaan Davis (2009-13), who is 27th in school history with 1,070 points.

• Anthony needs two more blocks to become the third player in school history to reach 100 in a career.

• Senior Michael Rudy needs nine more rejections to tie Matt Stackhouse (2000-04) for first in school history with 142 career blocks.

• Junior Malcolm Covington leads the Commonwealth Conference and is 10th in Division III with a 3.47 assist-turnover ratio.

• Junior Patrick Dougher needs 17 more points to reach 500 in his career.

• The Warriors are leading the conference in assists (17.3), field goal percentage (.488) and 3-point field goal percentage (.412).
