Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. – Sophomore Bethany Richardson (York, Pa./West York) posted seven kills to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team in its season opener on Friday night, Aug. 30, at Franklin & Marshall, but the Warriors fell, 3-0, 25-19, 25-20, 25-20.
 
Senior Cortney Tice (Canton, Pa./Canton) notched a career-high 10 digs and senior Katelyn McKillop (Mount Pocono, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) added 18 assists and 11 digs.
 
Lycoming falls to 0-1 on the year and the Diplomats improved to 1-0.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Sunday, Sept. 1, when they head to the Scranton Invitational to face Sage at 12 p.m. and Scranton at 2 p.m. at the Long Center.
