WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Back in a three-way tie for third place in the Commonwealth Conference with Arcadia and Messiah, the Lycoming College men’s basketball team will look to move a step closer to clinching its second straight playoff berth on Wednesday night, Feb. 6, when it travels to Lebanon Valley.
With four games remaining in the season, the Warriors (14-7 overall, 8-6 Commonwealth) have a magic number of three to clinch a spot in the league’s five-team playoffs. The team has won two of its last three games, falling to Stevenson, 82-76, on Feb. 2, in its last outing.
The Dutchmen (7-14 overall, 4-10 Commonwealth) are coming off an 86-71 loss at Albright on Feb. 2. Both seniors Danny Brooks and Matt O’Brien scored 23 points in the game.
