WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - While the Lycoming College women’s basketball team hasn’t made the playoff since 2000, it will make its first appearance in 13 years on Monday night, Feb. 18, by facing off its most familiar playoff opponent - Elizabethtown, as the two teams will meet up in the first round of the Commonwealth Conference playoffs at Thompson Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
The Warriors (8-16 overall, 8-10 Commonwealth) sealed up the No. 5 seed in the conference playoffs with a 49-39 win over Albright on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The Warriors have won three of their last five games and feature a young rotation that includes three sophomores and four freshmen.
The Blue Jays (14-10 overall, 11-7 Commonwealth) are one of the most experienced teams in the league, with two seniors and two juniors in the starting lineup.

• Lycoming is looking for its first playoff win since 1997, when the team posted a 63-44 win over Susquehanna in the opening round of the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs.

Rachael Scheller needs seven more swipes to tie Kim Wood (1989-90) for second in the school’s single-season record book.
• Scheller is 11 steals shy of the school’s career record of 239 set by Wood (1987-90).
• With 295 career assists, Scheller needs five more to become the fourth player in school history to reach 300 in a career.

Julia Antonelli needs one more point to become the 13th player in school history to reach 800 in a career.
• Antonelli needs two more rebounds to become the 11th player in school history to pull down 200 in a season.
• Freshman
Olivia Manges has scored in double figures in each of the last seven games, averaging 14.4 points over that span.
