WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With five teams still alive and vying for the final three Commonwealth Conference playoff spots, the playoff picture involves no less than 12 different scenarios heading into the final Saturday of conference play on Feb. 16. For the Lycoming College men’s basketball team, though, it’s simple. A win at Hood in the finale helps them secure a No. 3 seed. A loss means the Warriors will need some help, as the team can secure a berth if Arcadia loses at Widener, Messiah loses to Alvernia or Stevenson loses to Lebanon Valley.
The Warriors (15-9 overall, 9-8 Commonwealth) are coming off a narrow 90-87 loss to second-place Albright on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The team had six players in double figures in the game, led by 16 points from freshman
Rob Pillow IV and 15 from junior
Michael Rudy and senior
Anthony Martin.
