The hammer report
Junior
Craig Needhammer needs 57 more yards to move into the top 10 in the school's single-season record book in all-purpose yards, where Cory Sheridan sits with 1,204 set in 1992. The 5-7 running back has more than 100 all-purpose yards in seven games this year and his five 100-yard rushing games leaves him tied for fourth in school history, behind Brian Thompson (8, 1997), Troy Erdman (6, 1989) and Jared Morris (2002).
Going over 1,000
Junior running back
Craig Needhammer and sophomore
Ryan Umpleby each went over 1,000 all-purpose yards on the season during the win over Albright on Oct. 26. The pair, who have combined for 2,199 yards this season, are the first set of Warriors to post 1,000 all-purpose yards in the same season since Tim Dumas (1,258) and Brian Thompson (1,123) did it in 1998.
Race for 100
Three Lycoming defensive players reached 100 career tackles against King's. Senior linebacker
Tyler Denike had a team-high eight stops to finish the game with 107. Junior safety
Tanner Troutman and junior linebacker
Kyle Sullivan each notched seven to finish with 106 and 102, respectively.
A tough road
FDU-Florham is the first MAC opponent for the Warriors that has not been either tied for first in the MAC (Wilkes, 0-0; Widener, 2-0; Delaware Valley, 3-0) or one game behind (Misericordia, 0-1; Lebanon Valley, 3-1; Albright, 3-2; King's, 4-2) in the conference standings.
About the race for 15
The loss to King's on Nov. 2 has dropped the Warriors into a three-way tie for second place in the MAC with Widener and King's heading into week nine. With two weeks left, in order for the Warriors to tie for a piece of their 15th conference title in school history, the Warriors will need some help - namely Lebanon Valley, who is in first with a 6-1 league record, to lose.
300!
Assistant head coach and defensive coordinator
Steve Wiser '74 won the 300th game of his 44-year Lycoming career on Saturday, Oct. 26, against Albright. As a player, the team won nine games from 1970-73 and since 1974, he has helped win 291 as an assistant coach.
Perfect at Person
The Warriors are 4-0 at David Person Field this season and are looking for their first perfect home slate since 2008 and the 11th in school history.
