WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - For the first time since 2007, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will take on former Freedom Conference foe DeSales University tonight in the season-opening in the Morgan Stanley Tip-Off Tournament.
The Warriors, who moved to the Commonwealth Conference after the 2007 season, earned a spot in the conference playoffs for the first time in 2013 after posting an 8-10 mark in the league to finish fifth. The team returns its top two scorers in senior Julia Antonelli and sophomore Olivia Manges.
DeSales is coming off a 18-8 season and a spot in the Freedom Conference Tournament. The team is led by senior guard Sondrine Glovas, who averaged 17.9 points per game last year.

• Senior
Julia Antonelli became the 13th player in school history to reach 800 points in a career with her second of 10 against Elizabethtown in the Commonwealth Conference First Round.
• Antonelli became the 11th player in school history to pull down 200 rebounds in a season with her second of 11 against Elizabethtown.
• Sophomore
Olivia Manges scored in double figures in each of the last eight games of 2012-13.
• Junior
Janelle Ziminski has posted more than 35 steals in each of her first two seasons.
• This is tied for the earliest the Warriors have ever started a season. They are 0-1 all-time on Nov. 15, falling to Franklin & Marshall, 75-63, in 1990.
• The Warriors are 10-10 all-time in season openers under head coach
