DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Four Lycoming College volleyball players finished with at least 20 kills, led by 28 from sophomore
Bethany Richardson (York, Pa./West York), as Lycoming posted a pair of wins at the Middle Atlantic Conference Crossovers on Saturday, Oct. 5, defeating FDU-Florham, 3-1 (25-13, 22-25, 25-13, 25-19) and Delaware Valley, 3-2 (25-23, 22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-7).

Freshman
Lauren Fink (York, Pa./West York) complimented Richardson by knocking down 26 kills and 35 digs. Both freshmen
Maggie Slawson (Armagh, Pa./United) and
Kristine Jahn (Enola, Pa./Cumberland Valley) finished with 21 kills as the Warriors (16-7 overall) won their 10
th match in their last 12 outings.

Against FDU-Florham, the Warriors nailed down 33 kills in the third and fourth sets, hitting better than .300 in each set to post the 3-1 win.

Fink led the way with 19 kills and 16 digs and Slawson added 12 kills and three digs. Richardson and Jahn both posted nine digs.

Senior
Katelyn McKillop (Mount Pocono, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) notched 48 assists, three aces, six digs and two blocks. Junior
Amber Seibel (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) added 14 digs and four aces and junior
Kristin Whitehead (Avon, Ohio/Avon) added 10 digs.

The Devils (11-15 overall) were led by 13 kills and two blocks from Helena Riede. Erin Fleming posted 11 digs and Maggie Kaszuba notched 24 assists. Jean Etersque added 10 digs and two aces.

Against Delaware Valley (8-10 overall), the Warriors rallied with wins in the fourth and fifth sets, holding the Aggies to a .018 hitting percentage in the final two sets.

The Warriors were led by an outstanding performance from Richardson, who finished with 19 kills and hit .356, and Jahn, who had 12 kills, three blocks, five digs and hit .300.

Slawson finished with nine kills and Fink added seven kills and 19 digs, while junior
Kylee Sutton (Wysox, Pa./Towanda Area) posted five kills and four blocks.

McKillop posted 50 assists, three aces and 15 digs from the setting position while libero Seibel notched six aces and 20 digs. Whitehead notched five aces and 16 digs and senior
Cortney Tice (Canton, Pa./Canton) notched 11 digs.

Janel Gluch and Gina Page led the Aggies with 14 kills and Alyssa Riggins added 10 kills. Page posted 16 digs, Destinee Horning posted 20 digs and Crystal Ronan notched 43 assists and 19 digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, Oct. 8, when they face Widener at 7 p.m. in a key Commonwealth Conference match.
