WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a game in which seniors Ihsaan Davis and Jerald Williams each reached milestones in a tough loss, the Lycoming College men’s basketball team will look to get back in the win column tonight when it faces Lebanon Valley at Lamade Gym.

Davis became the 29th player in school history to reach 1,000 points for Lycoming (11-2 overall, 5-1 Commonwealth) during its 86-78 loss to Widener on Jan. 5. Williams became the 14th player in NCAA Division III history to reach 700 career assists, as well.

The Flying Dutchmen (5-8 overall, 2-4 Commonwealth) are coming off a 76-66 loss to Stevenson on Jan. 5. Senior Danny Brooks, a preseason All-American, led the team with 23 points.

Warrior Notes
• Senior Jerald Williams is nine steals from becoming the third player in NCAA Division III history to reach 700 career assists and 300 career steals, where he would join Ramapo’s Tennyson Whitten (2000-03) and Ursinus’ Mike McGarvey (2003-06).

• With 146 assists this season, Williams needs nine more to move into third in the school’s single-season record book.

• Junior Ihsaan Davis needs seven points to pass Jack Sowers (1947-51) for 27th on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,016 points. Sowers was the first player in school history to reach 1,000 points.

• With his rejection against Widener, junior Michael Rudy became the fourth player in school history to block 25 shots in back-to-back seasons.

• The Warriors are 13th in the NCAA Division III in scoring offense (85.8) and seventh in scoring margin (+17.6). They lead the Middle Atlantic Region in both categories.
