WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a big win over Alvernia to get a hold of fifth-place in the Commonwealth Conference, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team will now head into another treacherous stretch in its schedule when it faces Widener, which knocked off nationally-ranked Lebanon Valley in its last game, today at Lamade Gym.

The Warriors (5-12 overall, 5-6 Commonwealth) posted their largest margin of victory of the season with a 20-point rout of Alvernia on Wednesday, Jan. 23. Freshman Shanley Harlacker posted a career-high 14 points to lead the way, while the team’s stout defensive effort held the Crusaders to 25 percent shooting from the floor.

Widener (14-4 overall, 9-2 Commonwealth) is coming off a 69-59 win over 15th-ranked Lebanon Valley, in which senior Kate Dellinger led the team with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
