WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off a tight overtime win against Stevenson on Jan. 12, the Lycoming College basketball team will try to keep its solo hold on first place in the Commonwealth Conference when it hits the road for Albright, which is just a game back of Lycoming in the standings, on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
The Warriors (12-3 overall, 6-2 Commonwealth) posted a 104-100 overtime win against Stevenson, thanks to 26 points from senior
Anthony Martin and 21 points and 10 rebounds from junior

The Lions (12-3 overall, 5-3 Commonwealth) fell to Lebanon Valley, 77-67, on Jan. 12. Sophomore Pedro Perez led the team with 20 points, three assists and six rebounds. Senior Dave Singleton added 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.

• The Warriors lead the nation in assists per game (21.2) and second in blocked shots per game (6.3).

Jerald Williams is three steals from becoming the third player in NCAA Division III history to reach 700 career assists and 300 career steals, where he would join Ramapo’s Tennyson Whitten (2000-03) and Ursinus’ Mike McGarvey (2003-06).
• With 177 assists this season, Williams needs five more helpers to tie his own mark from 2010-11, when he had 182, the second-best mark in school history.
• Williams, leads the nation with 11.8 assists per game, has five of Division III’s top 10 single-game performances this season.

Kevin Anthony is five points shy of becoming the 48th player in school history to reach 800 career points.
