Warriors look to get back on track with first visit to Stevenson

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a treacherous three-game stretch against King’s, Widener and Lebanon Valley, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team will head to Stevenson University looking to get back on track with an important Commonwealth Conference game on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 12.

The Warriors (2-11 overall, 2-5 Commonwealth) are coming off a 68-44 loss to No. 18 Lebanon Valley on Jan. 9. Sophomore Ali Derr led the team with eight points and six rebounds and freshman Olivia Manges added seven points in the game.

The Mustangs (5-5 overall, 2-5 Commonwealth) are coming off a 79-47 loss at Messiah on Jan. 9. Sophomore Kyarra Harmon led the Mustangs with 11 points and five rebounds.

Warrior Notes
• Freshman Olivia Manges is averaging 6.0 points per game and freshman Shanley Harlacker is averaging 5.3 points. As a team, the Warrior bench is outscoring opponents, 26.0-17.4.

• Senior Rachael Scheller became the fifth player in school history to reach 250 in a career with her last of four helpers against Lebanon Valley.

• With 189 career steals, Scheller needs two more thefts to pass Jessica Zerbee (2006-10) for third in the school’s history.

• Scheller is seventh in the Commonwealth Conference in assists (3.46) and second in steals (2.84).

• Junior Julia Antonelli is fourth in the league in rebounding (9.3).

• Sophomore Ali Derr needs four more points to reach 200 in her career.

• Freshman Shannon Wheeler needs two points to reach 100 in her career.
