WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Looking to even up its overall record, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team will welcome Arcadia to Lamade Gym for a Commonwealth Conference game on Saturday, Feb. 1, in a game that is critical for the Warriors’ playoff hopes.

With Elizabethtown and Widener tied for third in the Commonwealth Conference, both teams have a magic number of five (any E-town or Widener wins or Lycoming losses) to reach the conference championship, but Lycoming (9-10 overall, 4-5 Commonwealth) is looking to make up ground on Saturday before heading into the final two weeks of the season.

Arcadia (3-16 overall, 0-9 Commonwealth) is coming off a 68-54 loss at Alvernia, as freshman Victoria Roukas led the team with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Warrior Notes

• The Warriors need one more win to set a new standard for the most in conference play since joining the Commonwealth Conference in 2007-08.

• Lycoming’s three starting posts - freshmen Ali Derr and Kylee Sutton and sophomore Julia Antonelli - combined for 33 of the team’s 54 points against Albright.

• Derr posted her second double-double against Albright, notching 12 points and 10 rebounds.

• The Warriors have two of the top five free throw shooters in the conference, as Antonelli is second at .825 and Sutton is fifth at .810.

• Antonelli needs 23 points to reach 500 in her collegiate career.

• Junior Rachael Scheller is 12 assists shy of becoming the eighth player in school history to reach 200 in a career.

• The Warriors are 5-0 when holding their opponents to 50 points or less.
