WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off a Commonwealth Conference-opening loss to Alvernia, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team is now set for another important conference clash on Saturday, Dec. 1, when it faces Hood College looking for its first win of the season.
The Warriors (0-4 overall, 0-1 Commonwealth) got a big lift against Alvernia with the return of sophomore
Ali Derr, who missed the first three games of the season due to injury. The 6-0 forward posted eight points, five rebounds and four blocks in her debut.
The Blazers (2-2 overall, 1-0 Commonwealth) posted a 67-53 win over Stevenson in its conference debut on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Senior guard Dyanna Prater led the team with 19 points, five assists and five steals.

Julia Antonelli has pulled down 10 or more rebounds in each of the last three games.

Rachael Scheller is tied with Jen Holt, who posted 218 career assists from 1995-98, for sixth in school history. She needs 16 more helpers to move into the top five.

Shanley Harlacker has hit a 3-pointer in each of the team’s first four games.
