Warriors wrap up Terry Greene Memorial Classic against Moravian

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Lycoming College women’s basketball team will wrap up the Terry Greene Memorial Classic at Franklin & Marshall on Sunday, Nov. 18, when it faces Moravian for the first time since 1994.

The Warriors (0-1 overall) are led by senior Rachael Scheller, who posted 15 points, six steals and three assists in a 73-52 loss to Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, Nov. 17. Freshmen accounted for 24 of the team’s 52 points, led by seven points each from Shanley Harlacker and Shannon Wheeler.

Junior guard Danielle Brogan tossed in a career-high 24 points to lead the Moravian to a 91-77 victory over Elizabethtown on Saturday, Nov. 17.  Brogan also tied a career high with seven rebounds.

• The Warriors are 6-4 all-time on Nov. 18.

• Five freshmen contributed to the scoring in the Warriors’ season-opening game against Franklin & Marshall.

• Senior Rachael Scheller needs 10 assists to pass Jen Holt, who posted 218 career helpers from 1995-98, for sixth in school history.

• Sophomore Janelle Ziminski needs five points to reach 100 in her career.

• Sophomore Kat Andriani needs 10 rebounds to reach 100 in her career.

• Lycoming scored 27 points off the bench at Franklin & Marshall. The Warriors also had 15 second-chance points.

• Junior Julia Antonelli’s .505 field goal percentage is second in school history. She has hit 204-of-404 shots in her career.

• The Warriors made their last nine free throws against Franklin & Marshall, shooting 75 percent in the game (12-for-16).
