WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With a deep freshmen class and four returning starters, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team will begin one of its most highly anticipated campaigns in school history when it heads to Franklin & Marshall for the first round of the Terry Greene Memorial Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 18.

The Warriors, who finished 10-14 overall in 2011-12, are coming off a season in which they allowed just 58.5 points per game, the lowest average in school history. The team is led by senior Rachael Scheller, who averaged a career-high 9.9 points per game as a junior, and junior Julia Antonelli, who scored 11.3 points per game in 2011-12.

The Diplomats finished  18-8 in 2011-12, reaching the Centennial Conference semifinals for the second straight year.

Warrior Notes
