WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After edging out Marywood on Thursday night, Jan. 5, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team will look for its second win in three days against a Lackawanna County team when they travel to Wilkes for a matinee showdown on Saturday, Jan. 7.
The Warriors (6-5 overall) had four players finish in double figures in their 66-62 upset of the 8-3 Pacers, led by 12 points from freshman

Julia Antonelli and senior
Erin Connaghan also posted 10 points, as Lycoming shot a healthy 45 percent from the field.
Wilkes is coming off a 71-64 loss at Albright on Jan. 5. Freshman Elena Stambone led the Colonels with a season-high 22 points and freshman Allison Walsh added 15 points.
Game Notes
• The Warriors’ 43 points in the first half against Marywood was the team’s most in a half since scoring 47 in the second half against Penn College on Nov. 16.
• The Warriors also scored a season-high 27 points off turnovers against the Pacers.
• Sophomore
Julia Antonelli needs 11 points to reach 400 in her career.
• Antonelli posted her first career double-double against Wilkes in 2011, finishing with 20 points and 12 rebounds in the 68-54 win.
• Senior
Chelsea Shearer needs one more 3-pointer to become the 17th player in school history to can 50 in a career.
• Junior
Rachael Scheller is third in the Commonwealth Conference at 1.7 3-pointers made per game and second in the league at 3.2 steals per game.
