WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Having won six road games in a row, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team will head to Widener University looking for lucky No. 7 in Commonwealth Conference action on Saturday, Jan. 21.
The Warriors (8-7 overall, 3-2 Commonwealth) are coming off a 51-34 loss to preseason conference favorite Messiah, as they outshot the Falcons, 40 percent to 34 percent and held a 34-25 advantage on the glass. Senior
Chelsea Shearer led the team with 10 points and two 3-pointers.
The Pride (10-6 overall, 3-2 Commonwealth) are coming off a 78-55 win over Arcadia, as junior Vanessa Hejnas led the team with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Widener notched 18 steals in the game.
