WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a difficult non-conference slate, the Lycoming College women’s basketball team is set for the meat of its Commonwealth Conference schedule, starting on Wednesday, Jan. 11, when it hosts No. 24 Lebanon Valley.
The Warriors (7-5 overall, 2-0 Commonwealth) are coming off a pair of wins, beating Marywood, 66-62, and Wilkes, 71-59. Freshman
Janelle Ziminski has averaged 11.5 points in the wins and senior
Erin Connaghan has added 12.5 points.
The Flying Dutchmen (11-2 overall, 2-0 Commonwealth) have a balanced scoring offense, with five players averaging eight or more points per game, led by 10.5 points from freshman Tierney Hiltz. Lebanon Valley won its first conference title in 2011.
Warrior Notes
• The Warriors’ .579 (11-of-19) field goal percentage in the first half against Wilkes is the program’s best since they shot .583 (21-of-36) against Penn College on Nov. 17, 2009.
• The Warriors have shot 56.9 (29-for-51) percent in the first half in the last two games.

Rachael Scheller needs three steals to tie Emily DiMarco (2000-04) for 10th in school history with 128 career thefts.
• Scheller is tied with Jen Reimer (1990-94) for 10th in school history with 65 career 3-pointers made.
