WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Lycoming College men’s basketball team will put its perfect record on the line on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Lamade Gym as it will face Freedom Conference-leading Wilkes in a renewal of the longest-running rivalry in Lycoming College history.
The Warriors (7-0 overall) and Colonels (6-1 overall) are meeting for the 120th time in school history in a rivalry that has often been a meeting of two of the top teams in the Middle Atlantic Conference. The two squads have split and alternated each of the last 10 meetings, with Lycoming edging out the Colonels, 72-71, in 2010.
Junior
Jerald Williams will once again serve as the sparkplug for the Warriors, as he is coming off a record-breaking game against Juniata, when he broke the school’s career steals mark, finishing the game with 184.
