WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After dispatching their first three opponents by racking up at least 90 points in each game, the Lycoming College men’s basketball is set for the 100th meeting in the past 64 years with rival Susquehanna University on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (3-0 overall) are coming off their 10th perfect run at the Tip-Off Classic, as they dispatched two of the top-ranked teams in the CUNYAC in Staten Island and Hunter. Sophomore Kevin Anthony was named the tournament’s MVP after averaging 20.0 points and 2.0 blocks per game. Junior Jerald Williams earned all-classic honors after averaging 11.5 assists and 4.5 steals per game.
The Crusaders (0-1 overall) are coming off a 68-64 loss to New Jersey City in the season opener. Senior Spenser Spencer led the Crusaders with 17 points in the game.
Game Notes
• The only other team that Lycoming has faced 100 times in its 64 years as a collegiate basketball program is Elizabethtown, which holds a 57-43 lead in 100 meetings.
• The Warriors have won the last two meetings in the rivalry with Susquehanna and the Crusaders haven’t won at Lamade Gym since 2004.
• Lycoming won 14 straight meetings from 1949-56. Susquehanna’s longest winning stretch was 10 in a row from 1990-95.

Jerald Williams needs nine more steals to tie the school record of 181 set by Geoff Boblick from 1994-98.
• With his fifth of nine assists against Hunter, Williams moved past Shaun Morris (2002-05) for second in the school’s career record book. He has 360 career helpers.
