Lycoming College Swimming Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirt

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College swimming teams will host a Pink-Out for breast cancer awareness on Saturday, Jan. 22, as part of their meet with Arcadia at 1 p.m. in the Lamade Gym Pool. The Warriors, who will also honor the teams’ five seniors, will also hold a Senior Day ceremony during the first intermission of the meet.

T-shirts are on sale in the bookstore and on the Lycoming College store’s webpage (http://www.lycoming.edu/bookstore/) for $12.99 with proceeds going to Colleges against Cancer.

Colleges Against Cancer allows college students, faculty, and staff to work together to bring American Cancer Society programs and services to college communities nationwide. The Lycoming CAC participates in many different activities promoting: advocacy, cancer education, survivorship and the Relay for Life.

The Warriors will be participating in their second fundraiser of the season, as they also participated in the Ted Mullin “Leave it in the Pool” Hour of Power Relay for Pediatric Sarcoma Research on Nov. 9, 2010, raising $500 for the cause.
