Connaghan and Kaitlyn Ober (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) each scored layups to open the second half and cap off the run, giving Lycoming its biggest lead of the game, 43-20.
But the Monarchs rallied, cutting the Warrior advantage down to nine, 49-40, with 9:12 left in the game. Another three-pointer from Mock helped Lycoming regain a 12-point lead.
With less than two minutes remaining on the clock, King’s cut the lead down to five, grabbing several Warrior missed shots and converting the rebounds to points on the other end, working the score down to 63-58. With 19 seconds left in the game, Zerbee iced the win for the Warriors, hitting the back end of a pair of free throws.
