Averaging a double-double and hitting one of the most memorable game-winners in program history during the Lycoming men's basketball team's stint in Puerto Rico has helped senior DeAundre Manuel earn his third career Warrior of the Week award and second of the season. Manuel averaged 10.5 points and 11.0 rebounds during the two games at the Puerto Rico Classic, hitting 9-of-13 from the field and pulling in both 11 offensive and 11 defensive rebounds. Manuel started the week with 13 points, five rebounds and two blocks to lead the Warriors past undefeated Scranton, 68-65, hitting a turnaround 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left to clinch the win, chasing down a rebound of a missed free throw in the right corner. He followed that with eight points and a career-best 17 rebounds against Susquehanna, also adding two assists and two blocks.
Manuel is second on the Warriors averaging 11.1 points per game, third in the MAC Freedom with 9.3 rebounds per game and sixth in the league with a .552 field goal percentage. The senior is also sixth in blocked shots (1.3) and ninth in steals (1.3).
