Running her winning streak to seven straight games to move into second in the MAC Freedom in the category has helped junior Kylie Russell earn her second Warrior of the Week award of the season and her career. Russell threw a complete game in a 10-3 win over Stevens, allowing 11 hits, three runs and striking out five on Saturday. She followed that with one of her biggest wins of the season as she threw her fourth shutout of the year with a four-hitter against MAC Commonwealth-leading Lebanon Valley. She also scored the only run in the 1-0 win after singling.
Russell is tied for the MAC Freedom lead in shutouts (4), second in ERA (1.18) and wins (9), third in complete games (12), fourth in strikeouts (66), fifth in batting average against (.228) and sixth in innings pitched (71.1).
