A breakthrough performance that landed him on the Louis Fleming Basinger Memorial Tournament All-Tournament Team has also helped junior men's basketball player Michael Rudy earn his first career Warrior of the Week award. Rudy swatted away a school-record-tying six shots in the tournament championship win over John Jay to give him nine in the tournament. He also added 12 points and eight rebounds in the game. In the opening round win over Cairn, Rudy posted 11 points and three blocks in just 13 minutes. In total, Rudy averaged 11.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game. He also hit 63 percent of his shots from the floor and hit two 3-pointers.
