After becoming the 11th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points, senior Akilah McFadden has earned her sixth career Warrior of the Week award and her first of the year. The Warrior point guard averaged 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game while leading the Warriors to a 2-0 week. She reached the milestone with 20 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in a 64-60 win over Stevenson and reached the milestone with last of 11 points in first quarter. She also had 12 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 58-46 win over Alvernia. McFadden is the only player in program history with 1,000 points, 400 rebounds, 250 assists, 200 steals and 50 blocks in a career.
